Fall Into Reading 2009 Challenge End

This challenge was so much fun!! I really enjoyed it, while I still have two books on my list I didn't finish and one I'm almost done with, I did get the rest of my list read. Here's my list

  • Did you finish reading all the books on your fall reading list? If not, why not? I fell 2.5 books short. Life caught up to me before I could finish the challenge.
  • Did you stick to your original goals or did you change your list as you went along? I did end up changing my list slightly, but I stuck to my goal of wanting to read at least 12 books. Which ever books I switched out, I replaced them so I kept the same number of books in the challenge.
  • What was your favorite book that you read this spring? Least favorite? Why? That's a hard one. I don't think I can pick a favorite or least favorite. I enjoyed all the books I read.
  • Did you discover a new author or genre this spring? Did you love them? Notlove them? Yes! Bree Despain, Kami Garcia, Margaret Stohl and Becca Fitzpatrick where all new author's who's ARCS I read and LOVED.
  • Did you learn something new because of Fall Into Reading 2009 – something about reading, about yourself, or about a topic you read about? Yes. I have found that I am totally in love with YA fantasy. There's so many amazing authors out there who's books just suck me. It's been so much fun reading the different YA books and hosting author chats with some of the authors. They're truly amazing people. I'm looking forward to reading their sequels next year.
  • What was your favorite thing about the challenge? The over all excitement about the challenge and reading so many great books. I'm looking forward to the next challenge.

Mundane Monday! #13

Happy Mundane Monday!!!
We hope everyone is having a great Monday! Today's quote is from Simon.

The Mortal Instruments

"I wouldn't change it," Simon said. "I wouldn't give up loving you. Not for anything. You know what Raphael told me? That I didn't know how to be a good vampire, that vampires accept that they're dead. But as long as I remember what it was like to love you, I'll always feel like I'm alive."
