Happy to know we'll only speak about the ID! I've re-read it three times and my mind's full of unanswered questions. Some friends of mine and I discuss a lot about them.
ReplyDeleteFirst issue: Tessa's true nature
What is she? She's a warlock without birthmark. Mrs Dark says she's an eidolon, like her. Are warlock and eidolon the same thing? I suppose they're not, because Mrs Dark tells Will and Jem her sister is a warlock, instead she's an eidolon. What eidolon is in Cassie's paranormal world? I know we met another shape-changer in CoB, the one in Pandemonium, and that Jace himself tells this to Clary on page 54 of CoB...but Tessa is equally different...or not?
Second issue: Jem's destiny
I'm team Jem, so this question's really bothering me. I struggle against my fear of losing him, literarly and litterally speaking! Is his fate established yet? I think there is a possibility to save him, but I'm frightened Cassie not only found a way to make this possibility difficult to achieve, but also decided this possibility's not without a great and grim sacrifice. Something like Dante's Law of retribution..only that I don't know what's to be sacrificed. (Obviously, it's only an hypothesis...I know, I'm insane!)
Third issue: Will's secret
By the Angel, what's up with this guy?! My opinion? He've done something he had not to...perhaps, it's about opening box?!?! I don't know, but I keep on imagining him, as a child, who, like the well-known Pandora, unaware of what's inside the box, opens it and then...then what?! Then he's cursed?! Then Cecily dies?! And who is Cecily?!?!?!?!!? Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah (ok, the last one is another question but it's sort of related to Will's condition).
However, and I've asked Cassie yet, are Will's box and Jace's box the same? I hope Cassie's going to tell us, 'cause she didn't to me...She said only "Interesting :)".
Fourth issue: the Pyxis
Ok, this question is at risk, as it partly makes reference to MI..anyhow, a very little bit! Why haven't we heard about it in MI series? We learned from Jace and the other Shadowhunters that, when a deamon is murdered, only its "bodily shell" disappears, but its spirit goes back to the original dimension. How is it possible they are oblivious of Pyxis? Sorry, the real question is...but I know Cassie won't answer it...What will happen to Pyxis? Is it going to be destroyed..or lost?
Fifth issue: Mortmain's aim
ReplyDeleteBriefly, who does Mortmain want to meet again? Someone he's in love with? Or someone who could give him a great power? I lean on the first hypothesis, as "love may be the most dangerous magic of all". ;)
Sixth issue: destiny of love triangle
I know it's not exactly a triangle, but I'm refferring to the main charachers...
So...Is one between Will and Jem going to die? I mean, certainly?
Then, I know...it could be who dies is Tessa's pick...or at the end she refuse them both. But I want to know if only one of them survives...not who.
Seventh issue: Will and Jem's relation
They are best friends and also parabatai. Is the love affairs with Tessa going to mess up their relationship? And if it is, is that irreparable? (i know...I'm too curious)
Eighth issue: Charlotte and Henry's marriage
Jessamine says he married her to enter the laboratory in the Institute...Really?!?!?!?! Is it a marriage of convenience for him? we see that Charlotte is afraid to force him in returning her kindness.
Henry, if it's so, you are my worst enemy!!!!!
Ninth issue: Jessamine
I think she doesn't know what she wants..she's only full of anger and resentment...Are we going to see her change in the next two books?
Tenth issue: Sofia's behaviour
She seems a very strong and good person...but has she a dark side?
Eleventh issue: Magnus and Camille
In CA, Camille disappears. She's hiding from de Quincey..Is the last time Magnus sees her in ID? Or have we more of her in Clockwork Prince and Clockwork Princess?
Twelfth issue: ID Movies
I've heard rumours of CA being optioned for a movie. Is it right?
I think it's enough...for now. :)
