I am delighted to be able to finally reveal my Demon's Covenant cover for the US! I very much hope you guys like it. I hope you think the smoke and light are all pretty, like I do!

(You may think to yourself, 'my goodness, that doesn't look like Mae! What happened to the pink hair?' Let me reassure you on this serious matter: nothing has happened to the pink hair. The model is not Mae, but Sin the dancer. I hope you guys think she is pretty, too!)

Be sure to go here and tell her what you think!!

We think Sin looks stunning! What do you guys think?

The Demon's Covenant will be released this May by Simon & Schuster. Be sure to go to your favorite book store and pre-order it now! We're looking forward to reading it and chatting with Sarah about it in May.

Thoughtful Thursday-Project Hope

Founded in 1958, Project HOPE (Health Opportunities for People Everywhere) is dedicated to providing lasting solutions to health problems with the mission of helping people to help themselves. Identifiable to many by the SS HOPE, the world’s first peacetime hospital ship, Project HOPE now provides medical training and health education, as well as conducts humanitarian assistance programs in more than 35 countries.Over the past five decades, Project HOPE has demonstrated its ability to develop and permanently institute long-term solutions to pressing health problems, the true essence of helping people help themselves.Project HOPE remains as committed as ever to addressing the world’s new health threats by playing a leadership role forging new alliances among those on the frontlines of health and together seek new solutions.

HOPE’s Mission: To achieve sustainable advances in health care around the world by implementing health education programs and providing humanitarian assistance in areas of need.

After watching a special the Anderson Cooper did last week for CNN, about the heroes who are helping the Children of Haiti, I decided to look into the organizations, who's names were mentioned on his show. Project Hope was one of them. What a wonderful organization this is! There's still so much that needs to be done in Haiti and there's many Children who are in need of our help.

Here's a sample of what their team of Volunteers, who are made up of Doctors and Nurses have done so far in Haiti:

  • Today, four additional Project HOPE volunteers - an orthopedic surgeon and three anesthesiologists - joined the team of 32 HOPE volunteers already working on the USNS Comfort in Haiti. Read Our Volunteer Blog
  • 32 Project HOPE medical volunteers began a three week rotation aboard the USNS Comfort off the coast of Port-au-Prince on January 27. Volunteers include doctors and nurses with specialties in intensive care, post anesthesia care, surgery, physical therapy, pediatrics, pediatric intensive care, and neonatal intensive care. Twelve of the volunteers previously volunteered with Project HOPE on US Navy humanitarian missions to Southeast Asia, Latin America or West Africa. Read More
  • To date, Project HOPE has sent nearly $10.5 million of donated medical supplies and critically needed medicines to help care for those injured in the January 12th earthquake. In the coming days and weeks, additional shipments of medicines and medical supplies – including antibiotics, IV solutions and vaccines – will continue to leave the HOPE Distribution Center in Winchester, Va., for HOPE's secure and controlled warehouse in the Dominican Republic for immediate distribution in Haiti.
