By Stephenie Meyer, illustrated & adapted by Young Kim
Published by Hachette

4 Stars

When Isabella Swan moves to the gloomy town of Forks and meets the mysterious, alluring Edward Cullen, her life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. With his porcelain skin, golden eyes, mesmerizing voice, and supernatural gifts, Edward is both irresistible and impenetrable. Up until now, he has managed to keep his true identity hidden, but Bella is determined to uncover his dark secret... Beautifully rendered, this first installment of Twilight: The Graphic Novel is a must-have for any collector’s library. (goodreads)

I'm not a huge fan of graphic novels, but two novels I'm really looking forward to are The Mortal Instruments one and this one. I really like the way the Twilight Graphic Novel was done. The cover is beautiful and I thought the illustrations were well done. If you've never read a graphic novel before, the books are not done word for word like the original book. It's an adaption from the original book with graphics.

I really like that some key conversations were kept in this book. I think that Young Kim did a great job with her adaption and I loved her illustrations. It's definitely one of those books that you can pick up and thumb through and/or read at any time. I'm looking forward to the second volume in this series.
