I write to you on behalf of a mutual friend, one William Herondale. I know that it is his habit to come and go — most often go — from the Institute as he pleases, and that therefore it may be some time before any alarm is raised at his absence. But I ask you, as one who holds your good sense in esteem, not to assume this absence to be of the ordinary sort. I saw him myself last night and he was, to say the least, distraught when he left my residence. I have reason for concern that he might do himself an injury, and therefore I suggest that his whereabouts be sought and his safety ascertained. He is a difficult young man to like but I believe you see the good in him, as I do, Miss Gray, and that is why I humbly address my letter to you —

The mother in me is saying with concern "Oh Will, what have you gotten yourself into now" and the other part of me is more than a little concerned since Magnus wrote a letter to Tessa about it. Ugh, I can't wait till December to know what happened.

ReplyDeleteO man what is he doing. Its always the bad boys getting themselves into trouble. I actually like both boys in this series more then I liked Jace and Simon. I love Jace he is my fave above all else in any series so far but I wasn't pineing for Simon. I saw him as a great friend but nothing more. In this one I like both Jem and Will. Can't wait for Dec. my birthday is in dec so this will be a present to myself :)
ReplyDeleteGoodness its hard waiting..Will is great but I really want to see Tessa with Jem..I love them both but for me Jem is soo sweet and the right choice they seem to have lots in common and Jem should get something GREAT thats all his considering what he has to deal with..

ReplyDeleteI'm already addicted to this book *o* I NEED IT! And Clockwork Princess right at the same time since we were promised a great cliffhanger... aaaaaah, I love Magnus. He's great no matter in what book though I must say I am one of the few who prefer The Infernal Devices over The mortal Instruments :) Even though I love Jem, I ship Will and Tessa till the end. Damn you december!
