Breaking Dawn Trailer

It's here! I know many fans are anxious to see part 1 of the BD movie and today Summit released the trailer.

To be honest, I've not been all the excited about the movie. It was my least favorite book in the series and for some reason I've not really cared if I saw the movie or not. I'm not even hosting a midnight premiere for it like I have for the other three movies, which really has had to do more with being burnt out than not liking the BD itself. But after watching the trailer I'll be honest, I've gotten a little more excited about the movie. It looks like they've done an awesome job with staying true to the story itself.

What do you guys think? Are you going to go watch the movie?

  1. The Trailer definitely makes me wanna watch it! I'll be at my local theater's midnight showing. Though I agree with you, I was not to liking of the first myself.

  2. I'm a little tempted to go re-read the series even though I've already read each book more times than I care to admit. lol

  3. We felt the exact same way. Whoever did this trailer deserves a raise, because it makes BD.1 look like it's going to be the best of the movies, when it most definitely was not the best of the books.

  4. I used to be such a twihard fan but I wasn't really a fan of the movies. But I don't think I'll see the movie this time round . . . just not what I want to watch especially since I hated the book.

  5. We Heart YA- I totally agree!

Little Dhampir91- That's totally understandable. I also wish they wouldn't have broken it into two movies. It sorta of loses it's appeal to me.

  6. I agree too haha. It was the least favourite book for me so I really wasn't looking forward to this. I was always gonna see it at the movies, but this makes it look like it is going to be quite good.

I also don't understand why they split it. Yes, the book looks large but for me nothing really happened apart from Bella having a kid.

  7. I didn't love BD the book; I actually don't count it in the series, haha. But I have a feeling I'm going to really love the movie. The trailer is well done and I can't wait to see it! :-)

  8. Anonymous- I agree. They should have left it as one long movie.

DJ- LOL that's the only book I wanted to throw. I shouldn't say that, but it was such a let down for me. The trailer looks awesome. I'm actually excited to see the movie now.

  9. We are not doing the midnight thing either - its just not my cup of tea anymore. But the trailer did make me a little bit more excited for the movie - the Jacob/Bella wedding scene(tear).

  10. I'm seeing the movie although not a huge fan of the book.

I'm thinking BD1 will stop when Bella has the child and then changed.

And the second movie will be from that point to the big climatic fight that petered out into nothing in the book.

  11. Pixie- It's totally lost it's exitement for me now. It was fun while it lasted. :) I love the Jacob/Bella scene. Too bad the movie isn't out next month when you're in town. We could go see it together.

Ebyss- I agree with you. I think that's where they're cut the movie at too.

  12. Before BD I was Team Edward, but after reading the book, especially the part from Jacob's point of view, my feelings toward Jacob changed. I ended up liking him way more than Edward because it seemed like Edward's personality completely changed and I didn't even recognize him anymore. Needless to say, BD was my least favorite out of the series.

To be honest, I wasn't going to see the movie, but after seeing the trailer I think I will. In a way it's like HP6. I found that book incredibly dull and boring but I loved the movie. Hopefully, I'll end up loving BD Pt. 1 as much as I enjoyed HP6 on screen.

  13. They're going to have a hard time replacing that shattered headboard. I can't imagine there are many furniture stores on Secluded Vampire Honeymoon Island.

  15. CrimsonInk- My favorite part of BD was Jacob's part! Loved it. I'm looking forward to seeing the wolves in action the big screen.

    Gina- LOL so true!

Anna- I haven't kept up with any of the BD news either, and then the other day a bunch of my friends were talking about the trailer so I had to watch it :)
