Did you hear the news!?!?! "Okay, since that last post confused everyone — the Mortal Instruments BOOK TRAILER (not movie trailer!) will be out tomorrow; I'll be posting the link here and on Twitter. The book trailer is voice-overed by Molly C Quinn from Castle and is the first of three book trailers leading up to the release of City of Fallen Angels. This first one catches readers up on what's gone before, and the last will contain scenes from COFA. We also have some other special video extras so stay tuned!" We can't wait till TOMORROW!! Be sure to visit Cassie's page here.

Twitter Tuesday - Cassie's Tour Dates

Cassie tweeted a link to her updated Tour Dates yesterday and I wanted to make sure everyone had a chance to check out the latest information. The best part?? Yes, she's touring with Holly! The stops start off with a Midnight Release Party on April 4th at Mysterious Galaxy. Be sure to visit their site for updates.

Mundie Moms, are you feeling as excited as I am??

Food For Thought

Did you know today is International Women's Day? If you did, you're ahead of the game, as I had no idea. Personally I feel like I fall short in keeping up with all the various days that seem to have popped up lately on the calendar. Not to sound rude or anything, as I think a lot of them have great messages, like today's video in support of Women's Day, which I found on Andrea Cremer's site.

Nightshade, TMI, and many other YA books have done a great job at tackling inequality between the various characters. It doesn't matter if the characters are paranormal or human. I grew up thinking that if I tried hard enough I could do most anything the boys could do if I worked hard enough at it. Yes, there are some things both sexes can do and some things women are better at and some things men are better at doing, but that shouldn't stop anyone from trying to do what ever is they want to do. I hope that makes sense and I know this is a touchy subject for some people. I'm not trying to single anyone out, but being a women I am standing up for those who need a voice.

This video has a powerful message and I don't think anyone could have said it better than Dame Judy Dench and Daniel Craig.....

Do you think we're closer to equality as a whole? You can find out more information about the video and the message here. What do you think, besides the obvious that Daniel Craig can pull off looking good dressed in drag or dressed as James Bond.
