Twitter Tuesday - Lisa T. Bergren

Lisa T. Bergren, author of the YA timeslip romance series, River of Time (which both Katie and I love so much), has written a historical romance called Glamorous Illusions. Here's the synopsis:
When Cora Kensington learns she is the illegitimate daughter of a copper king, her life changes forever. Even as she explores Europe with her new family, she discovers that the most valuable journey is within. The first book in the Grand Tour series takes you from the farms of Montana through England and France on an adventure of forgiveness, spiritual awakening, and self-discovery.
I'm on page 156 and I cannot stop reading it. Seriously. I've carried everywhere from ballet recital rehearsals to Boy Scout meetings. And guess what? Lisa's publisher, David C. Cook is giving the ebook version away for free this week. That's right -- FREE. Go on to DCCeBooks.com and download it from your favorite etailer: amazon, Barnes and Noble and iBooks. For those who prefer a paperback copy, you're in luck because Lisa's giving away five copies on goodreads right now.

If you love historical romance and "Downton Abbey" like I do, you're going to love this story. If you're unsure, read through Katie's reviews /posts on the River of Time series and you'll see why she loves Lisa's writing style. As for me, I have got to find out what happens to Cora (and Will, oh Will) as they journey across the Atlantic.
