My Weekly Round Up in the Stacks (IMM #142 / Stacking the Shelves #6)

Happy Sunday! Welcome to another week of my weekly round up. You can see why I changed the name of this weekly meme here. Hello October! Nice to see.... (where did September go?!). I received some fabulous goodies in the mail this past week, but today I'm changing things up a bit, and I'm only going to spotlight a few of the books. These are books you'll catch on Mundie Moms & Mundie Kids within the coming weeks.

Shadowhunters and Downworlders: A Mortal Instruments Reader Edited by Cassandra Clare (this anthology includes writings from Holly Black, Sarah Ress Brennan, Robin Wasserman, Kami Garcia, Scott Tracey, Kendare Blake, Diana Peterfreund and more), published by SmartPop, to be released on 1/29/13

** This book is a must read for TMI fans! I really enjoyed it, and of course laughed out loud more than once. Look for a review and upcoming feature prior to this book's release on the blog.

Falling for you By Lisa Schroeder, published by Simon Pulse, to be released on 1/1/13

** I am having a really hard time refraining from reading this book right now. I am so excited to read this!!! I hear it's one that might make me laugh and cry, and smile at all the same time. Check out that cover!

Dance of ShadowsBy Yelena Black, published by Bloomsbury USA/ Teens, to be released on 2/12/13

** I totally love this cover, and I can not wait to read this one! This is my second ARC to receive of this one, and it will be given away in an upcoming feature I'm apart of for this release. More will be posted about Dance of Shadows and the ARC giveaway shortly.

The Great Unexpected by Sharon Creech, published by Harper Collins, released on 9/4/12

** I LOVE, love, love this cover! I am really looking forward to diving into this book and featuring both on MK's and MM's later this month. I've been told is book is worthy of a Newbery Award.

Starry River of the Sky by Grace Lin, published by Little Brown, released on 10/2/12

** This is something magical about reading a MG book full of Chinese folklore, an exciting adventure, and beautiful illustrations. I can not wait to feature what I'm guessing is a masterpiece of storytelling on Mundie Kids and Mundie Moms. Look for my review to be up soon for this one!

A Wrinkle in Time: The Graphic Novel, published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux, released on 10/2/12

** This is one of those books that arrived and I was so excited to look through it that before I realized how much time I'd spent looking through it I had actually read the entire book. I think fans of this classic will enjoy this one! My review will be up soon.

THANK YOU to:

SmartPop, Simon Pulse, Bloomsbury, Harper Collins, Little Brown, Farrar, Straus & Giroux, Random House, Poppy, Source Books Fire, Harlequin Teen, and Month9Books for this week's awesome reads. What goodies did you receive this week?
