Happy Sunday! Welcome to this week's edition of my my weekly round up. You can read about why I changed the name to my weekly mailbox feature here. What a crazy week this past week has been. I feel a little out of touch with my blog and everyone as I spent much of the week stressing out and working on getting my expedited passport for this week's TMI Movie set trip to Toronto. I'm happy to report that with the help of movie executives, a fabulous author, my local congressman's office, a lot of freak out moments, an almost nervous break down not to mention the universe finally aligning for me, and 4:30 am road trip to Dallas to get it, I HAVE this......
I admit I seriously almost cried when they handed it to me. *big sigh of relief* Due to all this I seriously got very little done on both of my blogs this week, and have a ton of emails to now catch up with. You guys, THIS WEEK!! I am can not wait for Thursday/Friday/Saturday. This week was full of a lot of surprises mail wise. Here's some of this week's highlights and what I received in the mail.
(Margaret, Myself and Lisa)
This past Tuesday at Book People I had the chance to meet up with Lisa McMann and Margaret Patterson Haddix. I'll post my interview with them soon, but in the mean time, if you have a chance to go meet them I highly recommend it! They are such lovely women. Lisa is one of my favs, and I always try to come see her when she's in the area. It was my first time meeting Margaret. I can't wait to read her books!
These two surprise packages are full of awesomeness! Don't worry, I've got a few goodies to share with you guys that will be featured in some upcoming giveaways. Kirsten Miller's How To Lead a Life of Crime package is a hoot (yes I just said that). I can't wait to wear the shirt. Simon & Schuster set a package of BLESSED them goodies. Can I just say I LOVE the reversible cover. I'll be giving away some of these goodies soon.
This is one of my all time favorite children's picture series. I adore William Joyce's imaginative worlds, and his story telling. I can't wait to feature this book on Mundie Kids.
LOVE this! Sophie sent me this awesome earlier gift, and yes, I will be sporting this shirt proudly. ;) I think I need one that says Team Shadowhunter, Team I Read YA Books, and Team I Read Banned Books to add to this shirt collection.
