There's no right or wrong way to take part in this read along. Please feel free or listen to the audiobook. You can join in at the start of the read along, a few days after we start, the middle etc. You can read the book through in one night or read one chapter a night, like I'm going to do.
Each morning I'll post questions pertaining to the chapter we just read the night before. Like the previous read alongs, I'll include the links for each post on the date that's listed above. There are no right or wrong answers. The only thing I ask is that you please be respectful to everyone's comments. No bashing, and please do not list spoilers, as some readers will be reading CP for the first time.
For those who faithfully post each day they will be entered into a drawing for a copy of Clockwork Princess (signed)! Your comments can be as short or as long as you'd like them to be. If you're an anonymous commenter, you will need to at least include your name in your comment in order to be entered to win. Anonymous comments without names included will not be entered. I will be checking the comments when the giveaway ends to make sure the winner faithfully took part in the read along.
**I shouldn't say each day, as I know some of you can't join when I start the read along. You do need to comment under the majority of the posts to be entered to win, and yes, it's open internationally.
Signing Up & The Giveaway: As well as commenting, you do need to sign up for the read along in order to be entered to into the giveaway. Please be sure to fill out the form below. When the giveaway is over, I will contact my winner as well as delete the form, so no personal information is saved. As mentioned above, you do need to be an active participant in order to be entered to win, as this keeps it fair to those who joined the read along and are commenting daily.
This sounds like it's going to be a ton of fun! I have Clockwork Prince sitting right here on my shelf and I've been meaning to get to it, but it's so BIG and I'm busy between keeping up with my blog and planning edits for my own novel. This should actually work out for me--I love talking about the stuff I read, and reading this in little pieces should be easily managable. :) Can't wait to get started!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I really hope you're able to join us Kathy! It's a lot of fun, and much easier to read a book this size when it's broken down into chapters. It's a lot of fun chatting with everyone about the book too. I'm excited you'll be taking part and I look forward to reading your comments ;)
DeleteThis is going to be so much fun! I've read Clockwork Prince already, but would love a re-read in wait to the release of Clockworkk Princess (:
ReplyDeleteYAY! I'm looking forward to it!
DeleteLooking forward to the read-along....Will you be making any buttons so I can post one on my blog?
ReplyDeleteYAY! so glad you're joining us! I can not believe I have never thought about making buttons. What a great idea! I'll have to see if I can get one made real quick :)
DeleteIf you need help with that, just let me know. Anyone can feel free to 'steal' the logo for this one though, if that helps. ;)
DeleteDefinitely sounds fun!! :)Can't wait to break my heart again before Clockwork Princess comes out! :')
ReplyDeleteOh gosh! I'd rather have my heart broken from CP than Clockwork Princess. I'm scared for CP2 lol
DeleteAren't we all? If there's anything this fandom knows, it's that Cassie is a heart breaker. :')
DeleteI already started rereading Clockwork Prince earlier this week, but I think I can restart it again for the read-along.
ReplyDeleteSweet! Looking forward to having you do the read along with us.
DeleteThis is my first read along! We'll see how long I last reading only one chapter a day lol
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to read Clockwork Prince since I finished the first book, but I haven't got around to it. I'm so glad you posted this so it finally gives me motivation to read it, or listen to it.
ReplyDeleteHa, if I registered twice, I'm sorry! Not sure if first attempt via iPhone worked. I just read CP a couple of months ago but no one that I know has read it so I never go to discuss! Totally down with a re-read alrady so I can chat up with you all. Thanks so much for organizing this, xoxo
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to take part!! I love the read-alongs. It's a great way to re-read the book before the next one comes out without getting behind on other reading. And it's so fun to interact with the other readers!!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds amazing. I've been worrying about re-reading it to be honest. Maybe it will be easier reading in stages :) Can't wait to start.
ReplyDeleteSo excited for Clockwork Princess!! This will be fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm currently rereading the TMI series (for the 4th time? lol!), so this will be fun to catch any clues between the 2 series. Can't wait for Clockwork Princess, but also sad too, that it'll be over. Thanks for organizing!!
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time joining a read a long but I am excited. I love these characters and series. Looking foward to tge fun.
