Blog Tour: The Beautiful and The Cursed by Page Morgan

Welcome to today's The Beautiful and The Cursed blog tour. My sincere apologies, as this post was suppose to go up yesterday, but I had a lot of blogger issues yesterday. This portion of the tour posts on MM's features information about the book, the tour, and the giveaway. My review post will be up shortly.

After a bizarre accident, Ingrid Waverly is forced to leave London with her mother and younger sister, Gabby, trading a world full of fancy dresses and society events for the unfamiliar city of Paris.

In Paris there are no grand balls or glittering parties, and, disturbingly, the house Ingrid’s twin brother, Grayson, found for them isn’t a house at all. It’s an abandoned abbey, its roof lined with stone gargoyles that could almost be mistaken for living, breathing creatures.
And Grayson has gone missing.

No one seems to know of his whereabouts but Luc, a devastatingly handsome servant at their new home.

Ingrid is sure her twin isn’t dead—she can feel it deep in her soul—but she knows he’s in grave danger. It will be up to her and Gabby to navigate the twisted path to Grayson, a path that will lead Ingrid on a discovery of dark secrets and otherworldly truths. And she’ll learn that once they are uncovered, they can never again be buried.

PAGE MORGAN has been fascinated with les grotesques ever since she came across an old, black-and-white photograph of a Notre Dame gargoyle keeping watch over the city of Paris. The gargoyle mythologies she went on to research fed her imagination, and she became inspired to piece together her own story and mythology for these remarkably complex stone figures. Page lives in New Hampshire with her husband and their three children.

Shadowhunter Tarot Cards Sets #20: Seelie Court Queen & Meliorn

Cassie's shared another fabulous Shadowhunter Tarot Card!

So Cassandra Jean has finished the complete Shadowhunter Tarot, so for the next … seventy-something days I’ll be posting a card a day (okay, maybe not every day — I tend to get distracted!)  in order, from the first card to the last. Some will be under spoiler cuts; some you’ll have seen before — I’ll explain why each character has the card they have.
We’ve moved on from the Major Arcana to the minor Arcana — the first suit is the suit of Rings, which takes the place of the suit of Pentacles. The Ace of Rings shows Meliorn and the Seelie Queen: the rings are the gold leaf rings the Seelie Queen gives to Clary and Simon in Lost Souls so they can hear each other’s thoughts.
All the Rings in this suit are family rings except this card, and one other.

TMI Fanart

I love the TMI fandom, and one of the things I really enjoy about being apart of it, is seeing all the amazing artwork that fans create. Here's a few of my favorite TMI fan art I found this week on tumblr.

Cassie reposted this artwork earlier in the week, and I LOVE it! Cassie had this to say,
"I love writing about artists because they see the world completely differently than I do. I see everything in terms of words and descriptions, they see everything in terms of visual representation.
It’s been fun with Jules because Clary is a sketcher of life and an manga artist and Jules works in paints that express imaginary scenes. She’s more of an illustrator, he’s a fine artist (neither being better than the other!)"

Of it, the artist said,
"I had been meaning to draw Clary and Julian for a while now and I finally got around to it. That awesome CoHF snippet Cassie gave us sealed the deal for me.

So hear are Cassie's artist. :D"

I love The Circle artwork Cassandra Jean's been sharing lately. Of this feature, Cassie had this to say,
"Aw.
So many Circle pictures. ;)
Can’t you two losers take one normal picture? (Says the photographer inside my head.)
Robert Lightwood and Michael Wayland being unruly teenagers?

Of this artwork, artist Cassandra Jean said, "Late night delirious doodling. Baby Magnus & Ragnor playing 3DS??"

artwork credit goes to Cassandra Jean

Normally I'm not a fan of this kind of artwork, but I LOVE this! I'd totally frame this and put it in my office.

This is really cool!
