From the glittering streets of Manhattan to the moonlit rooftops of Paris, falling in love is easy for hopeless dreamer Isla and introspective artist Josh. But as they begin their senior year in France, Isla and Josh are quickly forced to confront the heartbreaking reality that happily-ever-afters aren’t always forever.

Their romantic journey is skillfully intertwined with those of beloved couples Anna and Étienne and Lola and Cricket, whose paths are destined to collide in a sweeping finale certain to please fans old and new.

First there was Anna & Etienne, then there was Lola & Cricket, and now there's Isla and Josh. I can't tell you guys how excited I am about this book. Stephanie's were the first YA contemporary books I read, and completely fell head over heels in love with. She has this ability to create epic love stories that are slow burning, perfectly paced, real stories that make me swoon, and fall in love with the way the characters fall in love. With out fail, she always leaves me wanting more, even though I'm more than completely happy with how each story ends.

Reading the Isla and the Happily Ever After sneak peak gave me a just enough pages to be mesmerized by the romantic, writing magic that only Stephanie Perkins possess, but not enough pages to satisfy my addiction to her characters, and her beautiful story telling. I have a feeling that reading the entire book won't satisfy my addiction for a Stephanie Perkins's writing. I can never get enough of her books. The little bit that I did get to read was AWESOME! Seriously, I don't know how Stephanie does it. Normally it will take me a few pages to start to feel anything for a character, but right off the bat I already love Isla and Josh, and want to read more of their story.

In true Stephanie Perkins fashion, by the time I got to the end of page one I was already hooked. Stephanie has a way of creating such realistic characters that makes me love them, laugh with them, and ache for them and with them. I loved the way Stephanie made me feel Isla's awkwardness, and that daring side her shows within the first few pages of the book around Josh. That cafe scene is brilliant! I couldn't help myself from laughing a few times within these brief pages at the situations that arise between Isla and Josh. I think there's something there that many readers will relate to.

Then there's Josh. There's something about him that makes me get why Isla feels the way she does about him. Like Etienne and Cricket, I have a feeling there's much more to Josh than even Isla knows, and I can't wait to discovery what it is. The little bit Stephanie reveals is one that gives me hope, and has my heartbreaking just a little bit. I have a feeling that Isla and Josh have a lot to offer each other. Like Stephanie's previous two books, I think this will be a love story equal to those of the classic kind. You know the ones I'm talking about. The kind that you can't read one time through, nor can you stop thinking about them.

This teaser definitely did it's job. I am hooked, and can not wait to get my hands on this book! This is a teaser I HIGHLY recommend requesting on Netgalley when it's up!
