Book News: Recent Cover Reveals

There has been a lot of exciting book news recently. I've had a lot going on recently and haven't been as active online, which means I've missed a lot of the recent book news. Reading it days later still counts for something though right? Thankfully I was one when these two cover reveals happened this week. I love cover reveals.

Sarah J. Maas shared the cover for her A COURT OF WINGS AND RUIN this week, and it looks amazing! I already have this book pre-ordered. I can't wait to read it.

Check out what she had to say about it:

Annnnd here it is!! The US cover for A COURT OF WINGS AND RUIN!! ðŸŽ‰ðŸŽ‰ðŸŽ‰ It's my favorite yet--partially because of the gorgeous (High Lady) dress that the amazing @charliebowater designed and so graciously let us adapt for this cover! Her art has been such a joy and inspiration for me, so I'm beyond honored that she got to be a part of the cover/this book (and the upcoming ACOTAR coloring book)! Hope you guys love the cover as much as I do--and thank you, Charlie, for the dress, and to Adrian Dadich for rendering Feyre so fiercely/beautifully! Can't wait for May 2nd!! (Head on over to http://worldofsarahjmaas.com/ to see the lovely U.K. cover too!)

Normally I'm a fan of UK covers more than US ones, but in this case, I LOVE the US on. The covers for this series are so well done.

EW.com revealed the cover for Andrew Shvarts’ ROYAL BASTARDS, today & shared an excerpt! Dubbed a 'Game of Thrones meets Six of Crows', I'm adding this one to my list!

ABOUT THE BOOK

Being a bastard blows. Tilla would know. Her father, Lord Kent of the Western Province, loved her as a child, but cast her aside as soon as he had trueborn children.

At sixteen, Tilla spends her days exploring long-forgotten tunnels beneath the castle with her stablehand half brother, Jax, and her nights drinking with the servants, passing out on Jax's floor while her castle bedroom collects dust. Tilla secretly longs to sit by her father's side, enjoying feasts with the rest of the family. Instead, she sits with the other bastards, like Miles of House Hampstedt, an awkward scholar who's been in love with Tilla since they were children.

Then, at a feast honoring the visiting princess Lyriana, the royal shocks everyone by choosing to sit at the Bastards' Table. Before she knows it, Tilla is leading the sheltered princess on a late-night escapade. Along with Jax, Miles, and fellow bastard Zell, a Zitochi warrior from the north, they stumble upon a crime they were never meant to witness.

Rebellion is brewing in the west, and a brutal coup leaves Lyriana's uncle, the Royal Archmagus, dead--with Lyriana next on the list. The group flees for their lives, relentlessly pursued by murderous mercenaries; their own parents have put a price on their heads to prevent the king and his powerful Royal Mages from discovering their treachery.

The bastards band together, realizing they alone have the power to prevent a civil war that will tear their kingdom apart-if they can warn the king in time. And if they can survive the journey.

It's not a cover reveal, but we have a title for book 6 in Morgan Rhodes's FALLING KINGDOMS series. I LOVE this title. I'm hoping that this may be part of the cover too. I can't wait to see the cover reveal for this book.
