Walker Books UK To Publish GHOSTS OF THE SHADOW MARKET by Cassandra Clare #Shadowhunters @CassieClare @WalkerBooksUK

A couple weeks back Cassie teased a snippet from the cover of  GHOSTS OF THE SHADOW MARKET: An Anthology of Tales, and had this to say about it:

"GHOSTS OF THE SHADOW MARKET: An Anthology of Tales. Full cover and synopsis coming soon . . ."

Last week Walker Books, Cassie's UK publisher announced that they had acquired the right for ten new short stories centered around Jem & The Shadowhunter Market! This Team Will girl is very excited about Jem's short stories.

Here is the official announcement, which you can also read here:

Walker Books will publish a new collection of short stories from American YA author Cassandra Clare featuring characters from the bestselling Shadowhunter world.
Ghosts of the Shadow Market will be co-written with Maureen Johnson, Robin Wasserman, Sarah Rees Brennan and Kelly Link and will initially be available digitally.
The first eight stories will be published as e-books from around March 2018 monthly, with the final two available in a print bind-up of all the stories, to be published in 2019.
The stories will centre on the Shadow Markets of the Shadowhunter world, with each one focusing on a different character. Jem Carstairs, of The Infernal Devices series, will appear in each.
Publishing director Jane Winterbotham acquired UK and Commonwealth rights from Heather Baror Shapiro and Danny Baror at Baror International Inc.
Winterbotham described Ghosts of the Shadow Market as an “incredibly exciting acquisition”.
She said: “There is an insatiable global appetite for Cassandra Clare and the Shadowhunter world, and we’re delighted to be publishing these fantastic additions to the oeuvre, with the brilliant talents of Cassandra and her co-writers.”
As the original UK publisher of The Mortal Instruments series in 2007, Walker will also be publishing a 10th anniversary hardback edition of her Clare’s debut, City of Bones, in November this year.
She is the author of the bestselling The Mortal Instruments series and The Infernal Devices trilogy, and the co-author of The Bane Chronicles with Sarah Rees Brennan and Maureen Johnson. She also wrote The Shadowhunter’s Codex with her husband, Joshua Lewis.

Shadowhunters + Classic Fairy Tales = A New Project in The Works! #Shadowhunters @CassieClare

There's a new Shadowhunters project in the works with Cassie Clare & Cassandra Jean! It's a Classic Fairy Tale pairing with the Shadowhunters characters. I am SO excited about this news!

Last week Cassie shared this Shadowhunters / Beauty & The Beast artwork that Cassandra Jean did (see above image), featuring Gwyn and Diana. See Cassie's post here. If you clicked on a link in her post, you were taking to Cassandra Jean's post, which featured her artwork of Red Ridding Hood aka Jocelyn & Luke, shown below.

I absolutely LOVE this one. In her post (here), Cassandra Jean revealed more about this exciting upcoming project she and Cassie are working on. Here's what Cassandra Jean said:

So @cassandraclare shared this so it’s safe for me to share too! We are working on a new project- pairing shadowhunters with classic fairy tales! (and yes, it will be in print too!) More details will be shared later!
I have been working extra hard on these (like each image takes me days!!), I hope you guys like them!
I love this news! I am looking forward to finding out more about this project, and seeing more of the pairings. I LOVE that this project will be in print. I definitely need to add this one to my Shadowhunters book collection.
