Top Ten New-To-Me Authors I Read In 2017 / Top Ten Tuesday #TopTenTuesday

Welcome to the first Top Ten Tuesday of 2018. This week's topic is, Ten New To Me Authors I Read in 2017. My previous TTT post was, Ten Books I Hope Santa Brings Me. You can catch up on my all previous TTT posts here

Before I share today's list, I just wanted to take a moment and thank the lovely ladies at The Broke and The Bookish who have graciously been hosting this fun weekly feature for years now. I remember when it first started. Since then it's been so much fun to see all the different posts. I've found some great reads through these lists and have met some wonderful bloggers through these. I know there's still a couple weeks left before they stop hosting TTT, but I want to say THANK YOU for all you ladies have done! It's been so much fun taking part in these posts. In case you missed their announcement on why they're stopping, and who will be taking over on hosting, read about it here

2017 was a great year for debut authors. Since starting Mundie Moms almost 9 years ago (next month), we've loved featuring and supporting debut authors. Each year I make it habit to read at least a select number of debut books. This year a variety of debut books were featured on the blog. Today's list features a few of the new to me authors, aka debut authors, who's books I really enjoyed reading.

  1. Dear Martin by Nic Stone
  2. Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller
  3. Last Burning Star by Caitlin Sangster
  4. Forest of a Thousand Lanterns by Julie C. Dao
  5. When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon
  6. Blood Rose Rebellion by Rosalyn Eves
  7. Frostblood by Elly Blake
  8. Black Bird of the Gallows by Meg Kassel
