It's finally here! I am so thrilled to team up with Kathryn Purdie to help her reveal the STUNNING cover for FROZEN REIGN. This is the last book in her Burning Glass series, which will be released on November 6th, 2018. What a stunning cover! I don't know what it is about the crown of flowers, but I absolutely love it. I have a feeling this cover is deceiving. It might have the look of grace w/ the crown of flowers, but there's something fierce about it too. This is another stunning series cover. What do you guys think about this cover?

Just, WOW! These covers are enticing. I love how they look all together. I like how they compliment each other, yet stand alone as well. I have no shame in admitting that I would pick up this series based on the covers alone. What do you guys think? What's your favorite cover?

KATHRYN'S THOUGHTS ABOUT THE COVER

My thoughts on the cover (includes some minor spoilers for those who haven’t read the series):

I adore this cover! It perfectly symbolizes Sonya’s ongoing struggle between craving power and feeling profound empathy as an Auraseer. Those of you who have read the first two books in the BURNING GLASS series will know why Sonya’s “reign” is now frozen, but this title also applies to Valko, who is still fighting to reclaim his crown, and Anton, who still hasn’t established a peaceful democracy in Riaznin. There is also snow in the book, so the word “frozen” is literal in some scenes. ;-)

My favorite aspect of this cover is how the crown of blossoms is so unexpected when paired with the words “frozen” and “reign,” so I hope that element of intrigue draws many readers to pick up the book.

Fun fact: several blossom crowns are mentioned in both CRYSTAL BLADE and FROZEN REIGN, and they all have a lot of significance to Sonya and symbolism for where she’s at in her internal journey.

I hope you all love FROZEN REIGN! It was surreal and wonderful and challenging and rewarding to write the final book in my debut trilogy. I can tell you this story involves a journey to a faraway castle, two new female characters, higher stakes, greater danger, and one of my favorite romantic scenes ever. <3 br="">
