Mini Book Review- NightShade by Andrea Cremer

This is such an amazing read! While I'm dying to share my full review you, I'm going to withhold my full review until closer to the release date, which is October 19th, 2010.

Nighshade is an amazing, engaging, spelling binding story that had me glued to the pages until I finished it. From page one, Andrea had me completely captivated not only with her characters and her amazing world building, but with her writing style. I felt like I barely had time to put my seat belt on, before I was whisked away in this thrilling read.

I've never read a book that had so many different characters, that I never once felt lost in who each of them were and what their roles were in Nightshade. Calla is one of my all time favorite female characters. While she's a warrior and alpha of her pack, she's a resilient, strong female leader who is torn between tradition and her heart. Her tradition is Ren, the hot alpha male of the Bane pack, to whom Calla will be marrying when she's 18. While she loves Ren, her heart is falling for Shay, an outsider who will make Calla question everything she's been raised to believe. She's never questioned her pack's traditions until now.

I'm left feeling just as torn as Calla is. How do you choose between two wonderful guys? Andrea leaves no shortage of action, and romance. It's the perfect blend, mixed in with an amazing wolf pack dynamic that I've never read in any other book before. It's brilliant and being a wolf girl, had me completely mesmerized. I going to say that Nightshade may be my favorite Wolf book of the year, and I've read some amazing wolf books lately.

Nightshade left me breathless, wanting more and thinking about it long after I had finished reading it. I'm dying to have the rest of the series in my hands. You can read more about Nightshade on Andrea's site here http://tinyurl.com/2a5287z and you preorder it here http://tinyurl.com/23cggjg
