The Iron Queen Court Blog Tour- The Iron Court

Welcome to the THE IRON COURT! We're thrilled this is your 1st visit to our court. Maybe we'll be able to sway you to pledge your alliance with us. After all we do have giveaways.....

It's an honor to be apart of the Iron Queen Blog Tour, and we've come to share a message from our Queen's 1st Lieutenant Glitch-

Hey. You probably don’t know me; we haven’t met before. I’m not that obnoxious Summer jester, or that uptight faery prince. Allow me to introduce myself. The name’s Glitch, and if that sounds vaguely familiar, you might’ve heard it before—once—in The Iron King.Remember?
“As technology became a driving force in every country, powerful new fey rose into existence. Virus. Glitch. And Machina, the most powerful of all.” –The Iron King
Yep, that’s me. Put simply, I’m one of Machina’s lieutenants. Or, I was, before that girl came in and took him out. You might be wondering why I’m here. Revenge? Or something even more sinister? Well, you’ll just have to read The Iron Queen to answer that question. I’m here to talk about the Iron Court today. Seems there’s a rumor going around that the Iron Court is pure eeeeeeeevil, and all we want to do is destroy Summer and Winter and the Nevernever and bring the apocalypse down on everything.
And that’s just not true at all--well the evil part, anyway. Technology isn’t bad, and neither are we. So our kingdom is poisonous to normal fey; that’s not our fault. So our last king tried to overthrow the Summer and Winter courts. What do you think Mab and Oberon would have done if they discovered us first? Do we deserve to be wiped out, just for existing? Don’t we have a right to defend ourselves? Summer and Winter can deny it all they want; we’re a part of Faery, too, just like them. If you stab us, do we not bleed?
Or at least stab you right back?
It’s just something to think about, as we head into the final battle. Oh, and I’m supposed to tell you that you can enter to win a prize today, by leaving a comment about what you think of the Iron Court. So go ahead and do that, and hopefully, I’ll see you all between the pages ofThe Iron Queen.
--Glitch, First Lieutenant of the Iron Court

We'd like to tell you a little bit about The Iron Queen, which was released this past Tuesday. Really, if you haven't picked it up yet, we highly recommend you do so soon. It's a fantastic read and our favorite out of the series. Who doesn't love a book that has a sizzling romance, action packed scenes and takes your emotions on one heck of a roller coaster ride.

My name is Meghan Chase.
I thought it was over. That my time with the fey, the impossible choices I had to make, the sacrifices of those I loved, was behind me. But a storm is approaching, an army of Iron fey that will drag me back, kicking and screaming. Drag me away from the banished prince who's sworn to stand by my side. Drag me into the core of conflict so powerful, I'm not sure anyone can survive it.
This time, there will be no turning back

  1. While I'm firmly for the Winter Court, I don't think the Iron Court is all evil. It's not their fault that their existence is toxic to all other fairies. If anything the Iron Fey are here because of us humans, but that doesn't mean they are all bad. Look at Iron Horse =]

  2. I love this series! Can't wait to read Iron Queen! :)

  3. This is a great giveaway! A gorgeous bracelet!! Thanks so much!

  4. I agree Danielle! Though the hot stare Marchina is giving our followers might make people change courts. ROTFL

Carolynn- Enjoy it! It's my favorite out of the whole series!

Kristen- Thank you! Harlequin Teen has done an awesome job with the tour and the giveaways.

  5. I liked that message from Glitch. I agree with him. Not all Iron Fey are evil, and it's not like it's their fault they're poisonous to the other Fey. But I'm still for the Winter Court.
The bracelet is super cute! Do I really have to have a blog to enter this contest? Cause that's what it says, but I don't have one.

  6. Yay I love it!!!:D pretty bracelet! I'm actually team ash(winter court) though I think I hit summer on the form thing... Oh well lol:P

  7. Alison- YES please enter! I just fixed that in the rules. Thank you for pointing that out.

Anonymous- LOL I'm sure Ash won't mind you hit the wrong court ;)

  8. As an official Team Ash Co-Captain...I am a firm member of the Winter Court. But I do not think that the Iron Fey are bad. I think there is a way for all the Courts to be able to live together...somewhat peacefully.

  9. I'm Summer Court! But I do love my technology, so the Iron Court isn't all that bad! :)

  10. Although I'm for the Winter Court I must say that I agree that the Iron Court isn't always evil. After reading the Iron Daughter my view of the Iron Court changed completely. As mentioned before, look at Ironhorse he is a favorite character of mine and I think that there must be more Iron Fey like him. I have faith in the Iron court but for now I'm 100% Winter Court :-) Thanks for the giveaway and I can't wait to read the Iron Queen.

  11. I ally myself with the Winter Court but I did love poor Ironhorse:( may he rest in peace. I loved the first two books and am ravishing The Iron Queen right now:)

  12. okay, thank you! :D

  13. Awesome charm bracelet. I am Team Winter. *coughs* ASH. But I could not live without technology. So it was very difficult not to ally myself with the Iron Court.

  14. While I pledge my allegiance to the Winter Court, after reading The Iron Queen I have a place in my heart for the Iron Court as well as Winter and Summer. They are all great for their own reasons and I want them to all exist together so these stories NEVER end! :)

  15. Patricia, I agree with you completely!
I proudly pledge my allegiance to the Winter Court. :D ASHHH. <3

    love the giveaway, btw.

  16. Sorry Iron Court, but I'm a Winter Court girl thru and thru. I mean, come on, they produced Ash, and who could resist him! But, I will not decide to stand against the Iron Court until I have turned the final page of Iron Queen and learned all the facts. So, I'm going to go back to reading that fabulous little book right now. Tootles!

  17. I'm a winter court girl. Mmm Ash ;) However, the iron court is a close second.

  18. I'm all about the Winter Court because of a certain prince, but I loved what Julie did for the Iron Court in The Iron Queen. The Iron Court wasn't pure evil--look at Ironhorse--and I was wondering how she would resolve things. I loved the contradiction--how the Iron Court was lethal to the other faeries, but didn't the Iron Court have a right to existence, too?

    ReplyDelete
  19. I am for the Summer Court but love Ash. The winter court was just far too evil for me, not that the summer court is "nice". I just got The Iron Queen so I suppose could change my mind but I don't know enough about the Iron Court to be very impressed with them so far.

Ohhhh!! I love that rendering of Machina!!! Well done! My allegiance is where Ash is... so I'm straddling between the Winter Court and the Iron Court... as I'm guessing (??) he may somehow end up there because of Meghan. There is no love lost between the Winter Court and Ash anyway, and there is a more tolerant side to the Iron Court now.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Also wanted to add.. thank you for the contest too!! It's a very pretty bracelet! And Glitch, that was a very heart-felt note! You, Meghan, Razor (and of course Iron Horse) are winning us over!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Warmth, sunshine, everything is fresh and new, joyous feelings and plenty of mischief (aka Puck)... Summer Court is where I'd be. But since reading Iron Queen, if I could be given a few of my own gremlins I may switch ;)

    ReplyDelete
  23. I've thrown in my lot with the Iron Court because I've known all along they aren't all evil. ;) Nice to hear from Glitch I wasn't wrong.

  24. I choose winter court. I have a winter birthday. I haven't read the books yet though.

  25. WINTER COURT!!!Although I totally agree with Glitch. The Iron Court is not all evil- just look at Glitch,Razor, and Ironhorse. Thank you to Harlequin Teen, Julie Kagawa and all of the blogs for having these AWESOME giveaways!!!!

  26. Summer Court-- I'd hate being cold all the time in the Winter Court.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Alison- You're welcome :)

    Tammy- I agree!

LOL I love that so many fans are for the Winter court. I'm really looking forward to getting to know more about Glitch in The Iron Knight.

Rhianna- I agree! I never thought they were evil either.

    ReplyDelete
  28. So you don't have to have a blog..but you have to be a blog follower? I'm always looking at Julie's blog but I don't really know how to become an "official" follower does that mean I can't enter?
Just wanted to make sure because I understand if not.
And I think the iron court is just not understood yet. But they do need some work..lol i'm visualizing Mab, Oberon and Magen with someone from the Iron Court sitting in group therapy trying to learn to work together loll.

    ReplyDelete
  29. If Megan's the Queen, I'm Iron Court all the way :). Plus the Winter kicked out smokin' hot Ash.

    ReplyDelete
  30. It's a hard decision to make, but I'm definitely for the Winter Court. That Prince Ash is definitely an influence. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  31. I am all for the winter court. Sorry :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. I like the Iron Court....kinda....haha but I am all in for Summer Court..California girl!

    ReplyDelete
  33. i'm totally for the winter court!!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. As of this moment, I am Summer Court. But I have not read all the books yet, so I keep the right to change my mind :)

    ReplyDelete
  35. Go Iron Court!!! I agree that the Iron Court can't help who they are. It is up to them to try to show others their better qualities or not. Glitch is right some of them are fighting for who they are.

I also think that Meghan is going to have a major part in the Iron Court as she has some of the magic of the Iron Court. She is a strong heroine!Go Iron Court!

    Thanks,
    Jamie Harp

  36. Gorgeous bracelets! I'm not Iron Court, though. Winter all the way!!! *throws snowball*

    ReplyDelete
  37. Definitely Winter! (:

    ReplyDelete
  38. I love a little bit of all of the courts, but I have to admit, I'm totally a member of the Winter Court, and Ash is definitely to blame for that ;) lol

    ReplyDelete
  39. I am for the Winter Court, of course! :) The bracelet is beautiful. Thanks for the contest!

    ReplyDelete
  40. I'm for the winter court, with no doubt. Sorry to the other courts. I hope I'll win because the bracelet is gorgeous, i think. I wish good luck to everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I am for Winter Court, but like a lot others, I don't believe the Iron Court is totally evil. I think each of the courts have their pros and cons. Thanks for the contest!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Winter court all the way!! I have a macabre outlook on life.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Summer Court forever, even though I prefer winter as a season. I just like to avoid Ash. xD

    ReplyDelete
  44. By the end of IQ, I no longer hated the Iron Kingdom. I disagree with you guys on certain matters like, you know, TRYING TO TAKE OVER FAERIE, but I understand you, sorta.
But I'm still Summer, for Puck<3

    ReplyDelete
  45. I must confess to being a supporter of the Summer Court. I just can't handle the cold of Winter! And those Iron Fey are intimidating, though I did love Ironhorse and the packrats. :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. Winter court all the way. But I do like the Iron court.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Is it wrong to admit that I love the Winter court just because of Ash!?! Really, who doesn't love him. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  48. Sorry, I'm pledged to Winter, but you Iron guys are awesome too :P It would be an easier decision if the Winter Prince weren't so ahhhh-maze-ing :D

    ReplyDelete
  49. My alliance is to the Winter Court, purely by process of elimination. The Iron Court is toxic, and the Summer Court is too wild. Winter is more of a slow, silent, death. Both more and less frightening.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Although I like both Ash and Puck, I must say I like the Iron Court (how can you resist those gremlins?)!

    ReplyDelete
  51. I have to go with Winter Court all the way!

  52. That was a really fun message/guest post from Glitch! As lovely as the iron court is, WINTER COURTER ALL THE WAY :)

  54. Ooo la la I must check this series out!

    Thnx for sharing!

    XOXO~ Renee

    ReplyDelete
  55. I'm for the Summer Court (: No cold weather for me, thanks.
As far as the Iron Fey go, I definitely don't think they're all evil... Especially now that I've read The Iron Queen :P
LOVE THIS SERIES <3 I hope I win!!!

  56. Honestly, I haven't actually read this series (and now I know that I will be pelted with rocks). Iron King has been sitting on my TBR pile for a few days now, but - don't worry - I'm going to put it out of its misery soon. :)

From what I've heard of the books so far, I would be Team Ash. :D And so I would be Winter Court! XD

    ReplyDelete
  57. Can't wait to pick up Iron Queen but I'm sure I'd be Winter Court.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I think I'm winter court, but iron court has its appeal.

    ReplyDelete
  59. The first thing that amazed me was the elaborate use of detail. Julie Kagawa has described the
characters and setting so well that I can imagine every scene as if it was happening right in front
of my eyes, when I read the book.
