Armchair BEA, Day 2: Best of 2011

Today is the second day in our Armchair BEA series post, and the topic for today is "Best of 2011". Here's our list (in no order) of some of our favorite YA books that we've read so far this year. Each of the books listed are ones that have all been released in 2011.

There's been a lot of fabulous books we've read this year, and I always find it hard creating a list of "Top Tens" or in this case "Top Twelve" reads. I feel there are so many books that deserve to be in the spotlight. There are many more favorites of ours that are not listed here, but you can see our complete list of highly recommended 2011 reads here and here. You can also view all the books we've reviewed this year so far by visiting our Book Review list.

  3. Lah- It's a fantastic read!!!

Ella- I agree! D and CA are fabulous read and we can't wait to read CP.

Pussreboots- I like your post and I can understand that. It's easy to get overly consumed with books and requests. It can be hard to keep that happy medium of loving what you're doing and reading and not feel like it's an obligation. I love reading and reviewing books, in doing so I enjoy helping various authors and publishers promote their books. I've learned it's okay to say no to requests. I have to schedule time in to read and I want to make sure that, that time is spent on a book I'm going to love and want to promote.

  4. Amazingly, I have not read any of those books yet! I feel like a failure. Most of them are on my TBR list though. Thanks for the amazing list :) I agree, I cannot wait for Clockwork Prince. I read Clockwork Angel as an ARC ages ago and have been waiting forever!

Here are my favorites in 2011!

  9. Great books on your list. One on your list to read that I loved was Possession. My daughter did too. So much so that she wouldn't share it. Hope you like it too.
