2011 Mundie Moms Favorites: '11 Debs/New Series


It's day 2 of our 2011 MM Favorites, and today we're listing our favorite debs/new series. This year has been an awesome year for debs! There were so many fabulous releases that hit book store shelves and among those were some of our favorites. To help narrow down our favorite debs/books, I broke our list into Debs/New Series (today's feature) and Debs/Stand-Alones. Normally we do a top 10 list, but this year I read over 250 books, and about a third of those were debs and there was no way I could list 10, so together Sophie & I have created a list of 22 of our favorite Debs/New Series.

  13. Tempest Rising by Tracy Deebs
  14. Carrier of the Mark by Leigh Fallon
  15. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
  16. Blood Red Road by Moira Young
  17. Witch Eyes by Scott Tracey
  18. Eternal Starling by Angie Corbett
  19. Half Blood by Jennifer Armentrout
  20. Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake
  21. The Iron Witch by Karen Mahoney
  22. Wither by Lauren DeStefano & The Girl in the Steal Corset by Kady Cross

This list is in no order and features books we rated 4.5 -5 stars that stood out the most for us individually. Each book is linked back to our reviews on the blog.     Hereafter and Shatter Me are definitely a couple of my new favorites. I haven't read Girl of Fire and Thorns yet, but if it's one of your favorites, then it must be great! :-)

    I'm going to read Shatter Me over the holidays and can't wait. I've read about half the books on your list and really agree that they were awesome books. Can't believe how many books you read. Awesome.

    Just started The Faerie Ring last night.. I've had it for a couple months now and I am glad I finally got around to starting it.

    Awesome choices, I'm lucky I've read a good amount of the ones off your list :) Great books!!!

    This is a fantastic list! I have so many of these books and haven't had the opportunity to get to all of them yet. Knowing they are so highly rated encourages me to try to get to them much more quickly.
