2011 Mundie Moms Favorites: Stand-Alones from Established Authors

It's day 6 of our 2011 MM Favorites and today we're featuring our top 10 favorite Stand-Alones from established authors. As we said before, as much as we love a good series, we also love a good stand-alone. There's been some fabulous stand-alone releases this year. Here's our favorites from 2011:
  1. Fateful by Claudia Gray
  2. The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater
  3. Prom & Prejudice by Elizabeth Eulberg
  4. Cryer's Cross by Lisa McMann
  5. Beauty Queens by Libba Bray
  6. Between The Sea & Sky by Jaclyn Dolamore
  7. Notes from an Accidental Band Geek by Erin Dionne
  8. Will Work for Prom Dress by Aimee Ferris
  9. The Time Traveling Fashionista by Bianca Turetsky
  10. Ten Things We Did by Sarah Mlynowski

What were some of your favorite stand-alones from this year?

  1. I have only read Fateful, and Prom & Prejudice, but I have This Dark Endeavor on my shelf and I'm reading Ten Things We Did right now. Great list, I'll have to check out the other ones on the list!

  5. This Dark Endeavor is not a stand-alone. I can assure you the second book in The Dark Endeavor Chronicles is coming out around August of 2012. (Which I'm so excited about, btw!)

Make sure you look for it, if it was a favorite from 2011!

  6. Dawn- Thank you so much!!

Lah- Cryer's Cross is a good creepy read. I hope you enjoy it!

Rebecca- So glad you loved them too! There were books I wish were part of a series. I wanted more, they were so good.

Cathy- Thank you for catching that! I have no idea why I was thinking it was a stand alone when I wrote that list. I just moved it off. I'm so glad there's a sequel.

  7. Beauty Queens was such a fun read. Libba Bray has an awesome sense of satirical humor!
