2011 Mundie Moms Favorites: Contemporaries

Today's 2011 MM Favorites is our favorite contemporaries. Normally I do a list for our favorite paranormal/urban fantasy reads, but this year I wanted to branch out a bit and include genres that we've enjoyed just as much as our paranormals. Like all of our 2011 favorites posts, this list is for books released this year and is made up of books we gave a rating of 4.5 stars or higher.

Here's our list of this year's top 10 contemporaries:
  1. Uncommon Criminals by Ally Carter
  2. Lola & the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
  3. Where She Went by Gayle Forman
  4. Sean Griswald's Head by Lindsey Leavitt
  5. Prom & Prejudice by Elizabeth Eulberg
  6. Virtuosity by Jessica Martinez
  7. Will Work for Prom Dress by Aimee Ferris
  8. Moonglass by Jessi Kirby
  9. notes from an Accidental Band Geek by Erin Dionne
  10. Ten Things We Did by Sarah Mlynowski
What are some of your favorite contemporaries released this year?
