Box of ARCs/Books Giveaway

I've been cleaning out and reorganizing my bookcases lately and I've found I've got both published books and ARCs of the same books. I usually donate a vast majority of my books to my local children's shelter, school libraries, and publish library, but this time I wanted to do something a little different and open this up to teachers who are in need of books for their classrooms. I originally posted this on twitter asking if anyone would like some ARCs, not thinking (for some reason) I'd get a big response. To make it easier I'm listing what I have here and asking those teachers/librarians who are interested in winning some ARCs for their classroom to please fill out the form below, that way I can randomly select a few winners.

Here's what I have so far: This lists is all ARCS, some are signed, some aren't, and some are signed to Mundie Moms

  1. If I'm currently a student teacher, does that count? (I hope so!) I'll be in my own classroom soon, but am student teaching through the summer.

    1. Thank you! I have so many teacher and librarian friends and I know how hard it is to get some good books into their classrooms. Instead of giving to the places I normally do, I wanted do something a little different.

  4. I was so excited, because half of those books are ones I really want to read... and then I see it's only for teachers/librarians. SIGH. Oh well! It's really nice that people think to include them, though!

  5. OH MY GOD!!! I cannot believe "Mundie Moms" is doing this amazing giveaway for Teachers/Librarians! (Actually, I CAN believe it, coz they're always amazingly generous!) This is simply amazing...

I've gotten my 6th graders hooked onto The Hunger Games series, the Divergent series, the Harry Potter series, even Enclave series. And since I also help coach The Debate Club and am on the Spelling Bee Committee, I've also had some 8th graders come to me for advice on books to read. I have to, however, make sure to read the books before I recommend them to these children, and if there is any physical intimacy beyond a kiss, I have to send the parents a slip home, letting them know about it. There are SO many books here that I would LOVE for my middle-schoolers to read...this opportunity is BEYOND amazing, and I cannot thank you enough for it! :)

  8. I am not a teacher nor am I a librarian, but my mom is a Librarian and head of the teen services at our local library. I'm sure she will very much appreciate all of these books. She's always looking to grow her collection for the library because she only has a small budget each month.

  11. Thank you! I'm on the job hunt, but am hoping to be officially a teacher by the end of the summer *crosses fingers, toes, etc*. I am currently building my classroom library and this would seriously help add some new books to the stacks.

  14. Thank you for doing this! I am a teacher who just got certified to be a librarian (just waiting on a library to open up). Most people don't realize how much money we as teachers give up to help our students. I teach in a low income area and every year I have to provide about 90% of my class with glue, scissors, colors, markers, etc. Thank you for thinking of us!

  15. Thanks for the great giveaway! I am a school counselor, but I keep a shelf of YA to lend out for the purpose of bibliocounseling. If I win, any of my spoils that wouldn't work on my shelf will be given to a language arts teacher or to the school library. :)

  16. As a full-time teacher who also tries to keep our school's library running, this kind of generosity is what keeps us moving ahead. Thank you for giving, even if it's not to my school!
