Waiting on Wednesday: The Chaos of Stars by Kiersten White

You guys, KIERSTEN WHITE has TWO books COMING OUT THIS YEAR (out September 10th, 2013)!! Sorry, this requires all caps, because I some how missed she had The Chaos of Stars along with Mind Games coming out this year (both books are from Harper Teen). I have been having total fan girl moment since Epic Reads's cover reveal for The Chaos of Stars on Monday. I absolutely adore Kiersten, both as an author and a person. This is beyond exciting! On top of having two books being released, this cover is seriously stunning.

About the Book:

Pre-Order it from (pre-orders aren't yet available): Amazon | Barnes & Noble
Add it to GoodReads

Isadora’s family is seriously screwed up.
Of course, as the human daughter of Egyptian gods, that pretty much comes with the territory. She’s also stuck with parents who barely notice her, and a house full of relatives who can’t be bothered to remember her name. After all, they are going to be around forever—and she’s a mere mortal.
Isadora’s sick of living a life where she’s only worthy of a passing glance, and when she has the chance to move to San Diego with her brother, she jumps on it. But Isadora’s quickly finding that a “normal” life comes with plenty of its own epic complications—and that there’s no such thing as a clean break when it comes to family. Much as she wants to leave her past behind, she can’t shake the ominous dreams that foretell destruction for her entire family. When it turns out there may be truth in her nightmares, Isadora has to decide whether she can abandon her divine heritage after all.

Egyptian Gods, San Diego, modern day. I'm totally sold. If I was totally honest Kiersten could write about a surfing hedgehog who talked and I'd totally read it. I can't wait for September! I CAN NOT WAIT to read this book!

What book are you waiting on?

  1. I just saw the cover reveal for this book yesterday, and while I'm not a huge fan of the cover, the summery sounds really interesting. Great pick!

  3. This sounds interesting. Unfortunately I didn't like Mind Games that much, but this book sounds good. I liked her Paranormalcy series so I am more than willing to read her other books. (Just no more of the Mind Games books)

  4. Lol, if there was a surfing hedgehog who talked I think I'd be interested to see what they thought when they wrote that.
