Veronica Rossi Announces a New Adult Book

Veronica Rossi had one heck of an announcement yesterday. Here's the wording of her blog post:
Break open the bubbly! A new book! A new book!

So happy to share with you guys that a good friend and I are writing a New Adult Contemporary Romance together. For those of you who don’t know what NA is, it’s like YA but a little edgier/sexier, and centered on characters who are college-aged. The book will fall under a pseudonym, as we’re coauthoring and as it’s in a different genre. The official announcement went out today (see below.) SUPER excited for you guys to read it. It’s been a blast to write!

I’m still writing YA as myself. I hope to have news of the YA fantasy series I’m working on soon as well.

The announcement:

Lorin Oberweger and Veronica Rossi writing as Noelle August’s BOOMERANG, pitched as THE HANGOVER meets THE INTERNSHIP, set in an online dating service that aims to be Match.com for millennials on the rebound, to Tessa Woodward at William Morrow, in a three book deal, in a pre-empt, for publication in 2014, by Adams Literary on behalf of Wildcard Storymakers (World English).
A sexier, edgier NA story from Veronica? Yes, please. We are such huge fans of her Under the Never Sky series here on MMs. Let's take a minute and let our eyes linger over the cover of the last book in that series, Into the Still Blue. Helloooooo Aria and Perry.

Have you pre-ordered it, yet? amazon | Barnes and Noble | IndieBound  And don't forget to add it to your goodreads TBR.

Be sure to check out Katie's 5-star reviews (Under the Never Sky, Through the Ever Night)  to see exactly why this series is has captured our hearts.

Congratulations to Veronica and her co-writer on this wonderful news!

  1. I'm hoping she does another sci fi or fantasy series after, I don't read contemporary at all. :(

    1. Rebecca - I felt the same way about contemps until last summer when I couldn't stop reading them. I encourage you to pick up a story or two, you may enjoy them now. Lots of variety in that genre and they're not all coming of age stories.

  2. That's awesome, but like Rebecca, I hope she does a new fantasy series.
