A few of my fabulous book friends have gotten together and created a brand new event in Houston!

Michael Trevino To Narrate The Bane Chronicles: Saving Raphael Santiago

Is it ironic that one the actors who fans REALLY want cast to play Raphael in The Mortal Instruments movies is now signed on to narrate The Bane Chronicles: Saving Raphael Santiago? I LOVE this news! Cassie announced yesterday that Michael Trevino will be narrating the audio book for Saving Raphael Santiago. Here's what she said:

I went looking for pictures of Michael Trevino (Tyler Lockwood on Vampire Diaries) and most of them were shirtless (not that I judge, I do not) but a shirtless picture didn’t seem the best way to say that Michael is narrating the audio of Saving Raphael Santiago, the next of the Bane Chronicles! It was much fun to cowrite a novella about a character as enigmatic as Raphael, and we add Michael to our ever-growing list of HOT GUYS NARRATING THE BANE CHRONICLES! Though Sarah and I are both in France, we are forward to seeing behind the scenes pics from the recording and getting an earful of Michael’s fantastic narration when the audio goes on sale next week along with The Rise of the Hotel Dumort read by Stephen Lunsford (Teen Wolf). I’m told both actors did a great job in the studio! Can’t wait!
Raphael, Magnus saw with an ever-growing sense of unease, was looking at that blazingly bright hole in the ceiling.
“They’re all dead,” Raphael repeated, slowly. “And I am dead, too.”

Can I just say I love that there's audiobooks for each segment of The Bane Chronicles that gets released. Not only that, they're getting actors who have voices you'd actually want to listen to. Okay, let's be honest, who's going to complain about Michael "reading" you a story. Let's keep our fingers crossed we'll get to see Michael on the big screen as Raphael.
