Hello & welcome to this week's Top Ten Tuesday. This week's topic is 10 Things We're Thankful For. My last Top Ten Tuesday post was, 10 Debut Authors Who's Sophomore Books I'm Looking Forward to Reading.

Happy Holidays! It's the week of Thanksgiving here in the US, which kicks off the holiday season for us. I love this time of year. I love this week's Top Ten topic. I'm so thankful for a lot of things. For today's post I broke it into two parts, a list of things I'm grateful for through blogging, and a more personal list.

Blogging Gratitude:

1) I'm so thankful for books! For the adventures they've taken me on, the things they've taught me, the characters they've made me fall in love with, and most importantly the friendships I've made because of a shared interest in books. I'm thankful for the books I've been able to promote through my blogs. Books are seriously an amazing thing. They can be life changing.

2) I'm so thankful for friends, both old and new! I'm so grateful for the friendships I've made all because of a book and through blogging. I'm grateful my closest friends who apart of MMs (Sophie, Em and Shandra), as well as the friends I've met through my blogs, at author events, other book events and on line. I love that I've been able to connect with some many people in person over the last few years.

3) I'm thankful for social media when it comes to blogging. It's so cool to think about how connected we are with friends from around the world because of social media, and our shared love of a book. Even though I wish I could pick up a phone and call them, it's nice we can chat online to keep in touch.

4) I'm so thankful for the authors, publishers, and readers of our blogs! You all make it possible to do what I love, and that's promote books. Though life has become insanely busy with my working (I love being a substitute teacher), and I may be behind on posting reviews, and responding to emails, y'all haven't given up on us. I can't tell you how much I have appreciated your continued support over the years, and your friendships! Thank you!!

5) I am so thankful for blogging, and all the wonderful things I've been able to do over the years because of it. From author events, to book events, BEA, ALA, moderating author signings, moderating a panel at the Texas Book Festival, the couple of years I helped out at the Texas Teen Book Festival, helping out behind the scenes with authors at BEA, volunteering at TLA, attending Comic Con, and visiting the TMI movie set, the red carpet premiere, the countless author interviews I've been able to do, the author chats I've hosted and so much more. Most importantly, I'm thankful for the friendships I've made.

Personal Gratitudes:

1) I'm thankful for my family. Especially my husband and kids. They are my world, and I love that I get to spend every day with them.

2) I'm thankful for all the fun trips my husband and I have been able to take this year. One in particular was a business trip I accompanied him on was to Barcelona. What a beautiful city! Not only was this my first trip over seas, I conquered a huge fear of mine, and flew over the ocean. I mean it was a huge fear of mine. I finally got to go to London, even if it was spending 5 hours in the airport. I can't wait to go back.

3) I'm thankful for my faith. This has been the one thing that has gotten me through everything that life has thrown at me, the good and bad.

4) I'm grateful for my health. Publicly I'm a rather private person, but I can't make a thankful post without mentioning it. The last couple years have been a little rough, and I feel like this year was the year things finally started getting better.

5) I'm thankful for this past year. I finally accomplishment some things I've been wanting to do for awhile, and decided to finally own my to do list, and over come fears. I love that feeling of accomplishment. I've also gotten to do some incredible things this year, and in the process I feel like I've grown a lot more as a person.

Let us know... what are some things you're thankful this year?
