‘Shadowhunters’ Fans: Help Welcome The Shadowhunters Cast & Crew to the Family!

Calling all Shadowhunter fans! If you've been a fan since production began on the film The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones then you might be familiar with a fan video that you helped TMI Source create called "A Very TMI Thank You," where the fandom thanked everyone involved as they began production on the film.

The fansite behind that video is at it again, and they've asked us to help spread the word about it. We need YOUR help in welcoming the new cast, crew, producers and network to our Shadowhunter family as they begin production on the Shadowhunters television show!

The main theme of this video will be “Welcome to the Family!” This is your opportunity to welcome our new cast, crew, producers and network to the Shadowhunter family and tell them how much you love and appreciate them!
Here's what you need to do:
  • Record a 15-second video message on Instagram and post using the hashtag #WelcomeShadowhunterFamily or tag us @tmisource, @fangirlishness and @mundiemoms.
  • Your message should begin with you saying, "Welcome to the family!" (You'll see why)
  • If you would like to record a message for a specific cast or crew member or producer or the network itself, you can do so after your "Welcome to the family!" introduction.
  • DISCLAIMER: Please know that not all parts of your video will be used which could be for time constraints or other technical issues. We will work our hardest to include each and every one of you in this video.
Here are some people you might want to submit a message for:
  • Cast (Katherine McNamara, Dominic Sherwood, Alberto Rosende, Matthew Daddario, Emeraude Toubia, Isaiah Mustafa, Maxim Roy and Alan Van Sprang)
  • Casting Director Jonathan Clay Harris (and Anthony Kraus)
  • Producers (McG, Ed Decter)
  • Network: ABC Family
  • Writers
  • Crew members
We hope you'll join us in welcoming our new Shadowhunters to the family!

The Mortal Instruments Repackaged Cover Art Without Typeface

A couple of days ago, Cassandra Clare took to Tumblr to share the beautiful new repackaged covers for both her The Mortal Instruments, and The Infernal Devices series. She shared the cover art without typeface. The art is stunning! Check out the images below, which are placed in cover order for each book in the series i.e.: City of Bones, City of Ashes etc.

I will always love the original covers for both series, but WOW, I am in love with the new covers as well. This change was a good one. Featured on each cover:

City of Bones - Jace
City of Ashes - Clary
City of Glass - Simon
City of Fallen Angels - Isabelle
City of Lost Souls - Alec
City of Heavenly Fire - Sebastian/Jonathan

Along with the stunning cover art, each of the book spines have artwork as well. When the series is together the spines will make up this image:

If you're headed to BEA/BookCon this week, be sure to stop by the Simon & Schuster booth #2620 @11 am each day to get your limited-edition poster featuring the new spine art from the TMI packages (image seen above).

The newly repackaged TMI and TID series will be out on September 1st, 2015.
