Valentine's Day Freebie: Declarations of Love Quotes / Top Ten Tuesday #51

Hello & welcome to this week's Top Ten Tuesday! This week's topic is Valentine's Day Freebie. My previous Top Ten Tuesday post was, 10 Books I've Recently Added To My TBR List.

It's been a couple of weeks since I last posted a Top Ten Tuesday. Today's topic is a fun one. It's a Valentine's Day Freebie. I was torn between sharing a few favorite romantic/swoony worthy/declarations of love literary quotes, and literary crushes. I think it's safe to say we all know that Will, Jem and Mr. Darcy are at the top of our literary crushes list. I opted for the quotes instead. I LOVE quotes. I have so many favorites, that it was hard picking just a few.

(found via a Google search, sources were multiple sites)

Here are ten of my favorite romantic/declarations of love, literary quotes, that would go great on a Valentine's Day card.

"There is no pretending, I love you, and I will love you until I die and if there is life after that, I'll love you then."

- Cassandra Clare, City of Glass

- J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

"You are not the last dream of my soul.

You are the first dream, the only dream I ever was unable to stop myself from dreaming. You are the first dream of my soul, and from that dream I hope will come all other dreams, a lifetime’s worth.

- Cassandra Clare, Clockwork Prince, Will's Letters to Tessa

" There's no story. I saw you one day and I just knew."
- Stephanie Perkins, Isla and the Happily Everafter

“I want to be the friend you fall hopelessly in love with. The one you take into your arms and into your bed and into the private world you keep trapped in your head. The one who will memorize the things you say as well as the shape of your lips when you say them. I want to know every curve, every freckle, every shiver of your body.”
—Tahareh Mafi, Unravel Me

“I just want to spend every possible minute of the rest of my life with you.”

—Suzanne Collins, Catching Fire

"Do I love you? My god, if your love were a grain of sand, mine would be a universe of beaches."
- William Goldman, The Princess Bride

“If I were to live a thousand years, I would belong to you for all of them. If we were to live a thousand lives, I would want to make you mine in each one.”
—Michelle Hodkin, The Evolution of Mara Dyer

“Because I was right. For the two of us, home isn’t a place. It’s a person. And we’re finally home.”
—Stephanie Perkins, Anna and the French Kiss

"No measure of time with you will be long enough. But let's start with forever."
- Stephenie Meyer, Breaking Dawn

And I of course can't end this post without one of my favorite Infernal Devices quotes:

"I cannot bear another day of my life to go by that does not have you in it."
- Cassandra Clare, Clockwork Princess

There are so many other quotes that I LOVE! What are some of your favorite literary declarations of love quotes?

I'm just throwing this out there, that books make great Valentine's Day gifts, and if you gave one of the books quoted from above as a gift, you could write the quote on a card to give it with the book. If you want to make cards with book quotes on them, besides looking through books themselves, Goodreads and Buzzed are both great places to look for quotes similar to these is. Just Google search romantic literary quotes or favorite romantic quotes or something to that nature, and you should be able to find a variety of links.

Speaking of Valentine's Day, don't miss our 7th Blog Birthday Bash on Valentine's Day!! I am so excited about our giveaways, especially the one for Lady Midnight!
