What's better than one deliciously cozy, swoon-worthy holiday story? Four of them, from some of today's bestselling authors.
From KASIE WEST, a snowy road trip takes an unexpected detour when secrets and crushes are revealed.
From AIMEE FRIEDMAN, a Hanukkah miracle may just happen when a Jewish girl working as a department store elf finds love.
From MELISSA DE LA CRUZ, Christmas Eve gets a plot twist when a high school couple exchange surprising presents.
From NIC STONE, a scavenger hunt amid the holiday crowds at an airport turns totally romantic.
So grab a mug of hot cocoa, snuggle up, and get ready to fall in love...
I am a huge fan of holiday anthologies, especially around the holidays. There's just something about reading a collection of feel good short stories centered on the holidays that I enjoy. This book includes authors all of whom have books I've really enjoyed, which is why I had to pick this one up.
Each of the stories reads like a shortened version of a Hallmark holiday movie, and will definitely get you in the holiday mood. There's a little something for everyone. I liked most of the stories, but I absolutely loved Kasie West's 'Snow and Mistletoe'. I also liked that while most of the stories are around Christmas, Amiee Friedman's is around Hanukkah. If you're looking for a fun, festive read, pick up this book! It also makes a great stocking stuffer.
I love this cover!! :-)
ReplyDeleteI need, need, need this book. It's so nostalgic to me even though it's a new release--it's just that it reminds me of an older anthology I read ages ago that was from the same publisher and featured Melissa and Aimee (it was released when I was still in high school, "Mistletoe") and ugh, it just screams the warm and fuzzies. Swoon!
ReplyDeleteYay for enjoying this one a bunch :D I'm glad you mostly loved these Christmas stories love. <3 I have not read any Christmas books, lol. But maybe one day :D This cover is so cute.
