Snippet From LEARN ABOUT LOSS by Cassandra Clare & Kelly Link #Shadowhunters #GOTSM

Cassie had me at "Will Herondale" in her newest Shadowhunters snippet. This new snippet is from her upcoming release, LEARN ABOUT LOSS!, which she shared here. This book is the next to be released in the Ghosts of The Shadow Market, which will be out on July 10th. Read her snippet below:

In honor of Will Herondale Remembrance Day, a snippet from Learn About Loss! Coming out on ebook and audio July 10.
He was Jem again, and he was in the city where he had been born. Shanghai.
Someone said, “Jem? Am I dreaming?” Even before he turned his head, Jem knew who would be sitting there beside him.
“Will?”
And it was Will. Not Will old and tired and wasted as Jem had last seen him, and not even Will as he had been when they’d first met Tessa Gray. No, this was Will as he had been in the first few years when they had lived and trained together in the London Institute. As he had been when they made their oath and become parabatai. Thinking this, Jem looked at his shoulder, where his parabatai. rune had been inscribed. The flesh there was unmarked. He saw that Will was doing the same thing, looking under his collar for the rune on his chest.“

. @CassieClare Shares New Queen of Air And Darkness Snippet #QOAAD #Shadowhunters

In honor of Pride Month, Cassie shared another Shadowhunters snippet with her fans yesterday on Tumblr. Over the last couple of weeks Cassie has shared snippets from a couple of her upcoming releases. The most recent snippet is from Queen of Air and Darkness. This snippet features Diana and Gwyn. Originally shared here, you can read the full snippet below:

Queen of Air and Darkness snippet
Pride Month snippet from Queen of Air and Darkness: Diana and Gwyn
Gwyn seated himself opposite her, large hands at his sides, his brow creased with concern. His size and bulk somehow made him seem more helpless than he would have otherwise. “I know what happened,” he said. “When death comes in great and unexpected ways, the Wild Hunt knows it. We hear the stories told by spilled blood.”
Diana didn’t know what to say — that death was unfair? That Livvy hadn’t deserved to die that way, or any way? That the broken hearts of the Blackthorns would never be the same? It all seemed trite, a hundred times said and understood already.
Instead, she said, “I think I would like it if you kissed me.”
Gwyn didn’t hesitate. He was beside her in a moment, graceful despite his bulk; he put his arms around her and she was surrounded by warmth and the smell of the forest and horses. She wrinkled her nose slightly and smiled, and he kissed her smiling mouth.
It was a gentle kiss, for all his size. The softness of his mouth contrasted with the scratch of his stubble and the hard musculature under her hands when she put them timidly on his shoulders and stroked.
It had been a long time, and she had never imagined something quite like this: moonlight and flowers and kissing in glades were for other people.
But apparently not.
