EARTH AND SKY by Heidi R. Kling / BOOK NEWS!

Back in 2010 I read and reviewed a debut that I completely fell in love with, SEA by Heidi R. Kling. I re-shared my 5 star review for it here. This was a debut that had me wishing a sequel would soon accompany it. Sadly a sequel didn't come, until NOW! I am so thrilled to share some really exciting news that was made public last week! A sequel to SEA, EARTH AND SKY will be published in the Fall of 2017 from Entangled Teen!!

I can not tell you all how excited I am about this news! SEA is a debut that Sophie & I both loved. Heidi is an author we adore, both her writing and her friendship with us. Knowing that this amazing book will finally have it's sequel is beyond exciting! Congratulations Heidi!!

EXCITING NEWS!

Recently Entangled Teen announced Heidi R. Kling's new deal with industry people on Publisher's Marketplace, for Sea's sequel EARTH and SKY! Check out a screen shot of the announcement below. *click image to enlarge*

ABOUT Of Earth and Sky

The previously unpublished sequel to SeaOf Earth and Sky, picks up two years after the events of Sea, when Deni arrives in the United States determined to go to college ̶ and be with Sienna ̶ if he's not already too late.
In case you need additional materials, here is Heidi R. Kling's updated bio:

ABOUT SEA

Still haunted by nightmares of her mother's death, fifteen-year-old Sienna Jones reluctantly travels to Indonesia with her father's relief team to help tsunami orphans with their post traumatic stress disorder-something Sienna knows a lot about. Since her mother's plane went missing over the Indian Ocean three years before, Sienna doesn't do anything if it involves the ocean or planes, so this trip is a big step forward.

But the last thing she expects is to fall for Deni, a brooding Indonesian boy who lives at the orphanage, and just so happens to be HOT. When Deni hears a rumor that his father may be alive, Sienna doesn't think twice about running away with him to the epicenter of the disaster. Unfortunately, what they find there could break both their hearts.
